As of this post date there is no "Official" online Ford Owner update procedure or download from Ford for SYNC2 update 3.10 - Dealer Install is the only "Official" option. I didnt even need to downgrade back to V3.8. just loaded the installation files as suggested. now I am back to having Nav but with V3.10. This originally started out as a Download Sync2 Cloud for Free. Sync Outlook data between multiple sources, sync Outlook with Google, iCloud, Office 365. Before installing v3.8 in early October, I was on v3.2 and the SyncMyRide website showed me as being current. I think it just compares your version to whatever is the current file on the website. If there's no file on the website, then there's nothing to compare to.
